Skeet and Trap (Ranges Ready by Fall 2025)

• Olympic Trap on one range, with a standard trap featuring a mid-range target thrower on the other.
• 2 Skeet Ranges for precision and speed.
• By Fall 2025, one illuminated range will be available for nighttime shooting.
• With our payment system and microphones, you’ll be able to practice solo with full convenience.
In 2027, we’ll have five combined skeet and trap ranges, allowing you to experience all shooting styles of skeet and trap sports!

Compak

• 3 unique Compak ranges equipped with microphones for precise communication.
• 2 illuminated ranges for shooting even after dark.
• Featuring a payment system and microphones, you’ll have the freedom to train solo whenever you want.

Rifle 50 m, 100 m, 300 m ja 600 m

• Shooting shelters available for all ranges.
• In front of the 100m shelter, there's an asphalted area perfect for biathlon summer training.
• The 50m range offers both pistol and rifle shooting.

Moving Targets 50 m ja 100 m

• Available by Summer 2025, we’ll have two ranges: one equipped with electronic targets, and the other a traditional range. Both will accommodate two shooters simultaneously.
• Easy to use, even for solo shooters.
• On the Moving 50m range, you'll shoot eco-friendly into a container, meaning all projectiles are safely collected for recycling.

Pistol 25m (Available by June 2025)

• Two shelters, each with 40 shooting positions, offering plenty of space and comfort.

• 25 shooting pits, ranging from 25 to 75 meters in length.
• Shelters available at the pits for gear protection.
• Daily-fee pits equipped with walls, cardboard target stands, and metal targets.
• You can rent a pit for your group – ask us for more details!

Practical ranges were used for the first time on a large scale when Ruutikangas hosted the Rifle Practical World Championships in August 2024. This was the first time this prestigious event was held in Finland.

Ruutikangas Shooting Sports Center is the perfect venue for shooting competitions of all levels, from national events to major international competitions. Local shooting clubs play a vital role as key partners in organizing these events. We’re working closely with the Finnish Shooting Sports Federation to bring a variety of international competitions to the region.

International competitions in 2025

From August 6th to the 22nd 2025, Ruutikangas will host the European Championships for clay target shooting and silhouette shooting, along with World Cup events. We’re expecting around 200 clay shooters and 100 silhouette shooters to compete in this exciting event! Learn more about the event from the official ECH2025 competition website!

All shooting sports enthusiasts are welcome to Ruutikangas Shooting Ranges! Shooting is only permitted during designated shooting times and in accordance with the provided guidelines. Everyone must ensure they do not cause damage to the range, disrupt others, or compromise safety in any way.

Shooters are required to familiarize themselves with the specific rules and safety instructions for each shooting position. These instructions can be found on the notice boards at each range. Before starting your session, please ensure you’ve paid the range usage fee. Failure to do so will result in a 10x fee charge.

At Ruutikangas, shooting is only allowed at designated shooting positions with the appropriate firearm and ammunition for that specific area. Unauthorized access or movement within the shooting range area is strictly prohibited. The entire range is monitored by recording surveillance cameras for safety.
